To be frank, I'm not moved by anyone's endorsement but my own. I can tell you that if I did, the woman who married, and who stays married to, Arnold wouldn't exactly be on my list of people to influence my choices.

Carville and Matalin come to mind, except that I'm not exactly a fan of Carville, either.
I don't want to elect a republican; if I did, I'd just vote for one. I've lived in red areas my entire life, and have more republican friends and colleagues than I do Democrat.
That doesn't mean that I'd vote for them, though, or take their recommendations on who I'd vote for.
I lived in CA for more than 3 decades. I was there for the recall of Davis and the circus recall that resulted. I was there for Arnold's first term. I don't think Maria Shriver makes a good endorsement for anybody who has paid attention.

She's very respected among California Dems - I think she had a lot to do with clearing out the Pete Wilson rejects from her husband's staff.
I was shocked watching this - I honestly didn't think she'd make any endorsement. This is big.

So she showed up without costume or makeup and spoke from her heart.

It is license to all thinking Republicans in California that they can reject the McCain endorsement of Ahnold and vote Obama.
Those of us who remember her dad, and her campaigning with him, think of her fondly from those long past days.
