19. Damn! Well maybe they'll rerun it. I was just walking around the UWS and it was awesome.
There were some HRC tables set up by party machine people on some corners, but the Obama people were out there freelancing. It was so cool. There was a group of students occupying a corner with homemade signs and flyers at 96th St. There were people out on their own, just a solo campaigner with a sign shouting slogans, fired up. There was an official group in front of Fairway. Just cool to see the diffence between the inspired Obama people and the hired Clinton campaigners. Obama HQ is at 139 Fulton #508 if you want to work GOTV on Tuesday.

28. Give me a break. Many, many women don't watch the Superbowl.
Which is why all the other stations have female-oriented counter programming. Don't be so disingenuous. TBS is showing Bridget Jones and then The Wedding Planner. TCM is showing Sense and Sensibility. Are they sexist? No, they are trying to grab the women's audience that's not interested in football. Women like me.

42. You don't think men and women in general have different tastes?
There are exceptions, I know. I'm a man and I hate football. Boxing is the sport I can't get enough of. But there are notable differences in the types of entertainment that each sex likes. It has nothing to do with equality under the law. And I think those differences in taste make life much more full and interesting.

21. I've been voting since 1960 and I've never been so terribly moved by a future first lady as I was
today! She and the other women on the stage were so magnificent it brought tears to my tired old eyes.

This was an incredible experience and I don't say that about much.

I don't know how anybody who is not a downright racist, misogynist crazy could not be impressed by Michelle Obama's speech.

An amazing political moment in our history IMHO.

But with truly intelligent, inspiring women!

I was on the fence between Obama and Clinton, though leaning toward Obama.

Tonight's rally convinced me. I truly believe we need to unite the races before we can unite the genders.

I am officially an Obamite!

56. Excuse me, 2 out of 2 made their riches the hard way- by earning it.

To me that is something to celebrate and inspire.

And in spite of the other 2 inheriting their wealth, they have managed to make something of their lives, rather than become poor little rich girls like Paris and Britney.

To me that is something to celebrate and inspire.

You don't have to agree, but don't get snarky!

They are a group I would love to go out and have a "girls" night with, not that it would ever happen. But you could tell that the emotion and belief in a common cause were there. Because they are a "few rich women", they have power to influence the average voter who can't/won't see past the rhetoric and familiarity of those on stage.

I don't count myself among these. I was undecided between BO and HRC, having researched their opinions on the issues. Until tonight that is. Anything you say comes across to me as whiney.

They are simply trying to counter the female voters leaning toward HRC just because she is a woman. I've met a lot of them. By having these women represent BO, it is a strong counter-punch.

Actually, the majority of women are not watching the superbowl.

Approximately 32.6 million women over the age of 18 watched the 2005 Super Bowl for a 29.3% average rating. Among women viewers, those in the 25-54 age group had the highest interest, with a 31% average household rating.
