Clinton leads in Monmouth University/Gannett New Jersey poll; 50% to 36 %

With only two days to go before Tuesday's presidential primary, Hillary Rodham Clinton leads Barack Obama by 14 points among likely Democratic voters, while John McCain now holds a commanding 32-point lead over his nearest rival, Mitt Romney, according to a Monmouth University/Gannett New Jersey poll.

New York Sen. Clinton is the choice of 50 percent of likely Democratic primary voters, while 36 percent say they will vote for Obama, the senator from Illinois. Fourteen percent remain undecided, and the recent departure of former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards from the race does not seem to have benefited one candidate over the other.
