Wow, Obama has pretty decent taste in music...
Snooping in the "Additional Information" section at "Project Vote Smart," I found Obama's Favorite Musicians listed as:

"Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Johann Sebastian Bach (cello suites), and The Fugees."

It has nothing to do with anything, but as a musician myself, I can't help but be impressed by his choices...

29. I've never heard "hate messages" from the...
Grateful Dead, but I've never listened to their music backward.

27. That's brilliant
A very apt song, isn't it? To see the support, and look in the eyes, of white Americans as they see Obama is fantastic. The times, they are a changin', aren't they?

7. It's the inclusion of the Bach Cello Suites that impresses me, though...
...some of the most passionate, sensual music Bach has ever written, in my opinion. Yet still, incredibly cerebral.

23. Bach Cello Suites
*swoon*

The first main-streem cello solos and helped define it as a solo instrument. That and I learned to play a couple of them back in the day. :)

At least he didn't pick Celine Dion for a theme song.
