Here is that judgment question again: why would she say she will garnish wages 24 hours before ST? |
|
I really question her experience to have the right judgment at this point!!!

1. Dumb to inject a little dose of "reality"? |
|
Free health care isn't exactly "free".
Garnishee wages, raise taxes, or raid the treasuries of weaker nations. Pick a method, but it has to be paid for somehow.
I wonder if "ending the war" would provide enough money to pay for it? Hmm.

4. A better way would be to get the insurance companies out of the loop. |
|
Cost would plummet. No CEO's, no Board of Directors and no stock holders to satisfy. This is a case where the government can do it cheaper and better. The insurance companies are the problem.

5. She's banking on the government based solution outcompeting the market based solution. |
|
And if she does get elected, the GOP would happily vote her proposal through because they believe in the market over the state. Simple really.

7. I see. You want Hillary to propose |
|
Kucinich's plan?
That won't happen. The insurance companies are her friends.

2. Poor choice of words, that's for sure |

Personally, I'd rather that we have Medicare for all, with monies coming from taxes for Medicare, which we already pay, being raised a bit. Of course, first I'd cut the tax breaks for the rich and get out of Iraq--that would bring in a lot of funds. This, of course, is the Kucinich plan one that physicians have said is the most sensible and most likely to work.

Honesty costed a lot of people elections, though.
People don't want to hear it. They want meaningless platitudes.
