McCain ad: "As a POW, I was inspired by Ronald Reagan..." |
|
What a weird ad. Starts out with that statement and meanders through all kinds of weed until he swears that he's the "true conservative" in the R race. Given that he's the one the establishment appears to be embracing, that ad really summarizes the disarray the Republican Party find themselves in.

Did the Hanoi Hilton get CNN? |

Why did he give a crap about Reagan in 1967 anyway? What a load, just what the rethugs like.

5. No link. I've seen it a couple of times on MSNBC and Washington Journal this morning. |

If Obama keeps running his campaign on a divisive message of right wing talking points, McCain will be our next president.

Ronald Reagan Ronald Reagan Ronald Reagan Ronald Reagan Ronald Reagan
If you're a Republican and you say the magic words Ronald Reagan over and over again, you win. It's that easy.

9. So during Vietnam we look to STATE GOVERNORS for LEADERSHIP. |
|
Edited on Mon Feb-04-08 12:43 PM by happyslug
Just think about it, our troops were NOT inspired by Johnson or Nixon, but kept fighting for Nelson Rockefeller (NY-1959-1973) and Attica, Milton Shapp (PA 1970-1978), Jim Rhodes (OH-62-72 and 74-82) and Kent State, Lester Maddox (GA-1967-1971) and of course George Wallace (AL-62-66,70-78 82-86, with his wife elected Governor for the 66-70 term). Clear leadership on Foreign Policy and how to handle difficult situations.
