8. Like when they want S-E-double-toothpicks |
|
The begging, the threats, the reaching down my pants in public, saying they want to get pregnant, the sudden interest in porn, all that stuff.
They're just like wild animals with no self-control in mating season.

How about some people manipulate others and some don't.

4. It's considered more "normal" for women to emote |
|
There are those who use this cultural bias for manipulative reasons, but I wouldn't call them "strong."

about their mother fucking feelings in public all the time. Keep your god damn feelings to yourself. No one needs or wants to see you get all emotional. Jesus. I wouldn't cry at my own parents' funeral. Show some class, America.

|
Edited on Mon Feb-04-08 01:02 PM by cgrindley
What makes people want to touch me? I absolutely hate being touched.
This country would be a lot better off if everyone simply learned to control themselves better.
If you want to show some emotion, write a poem, paint something, draw a picture, make a film, write a novel or a short story. But for god's sakes, keep your personal problems off your damn face. It's disgusting.

27. My world is neat and clean |
|
it has a nicely trimmed lawn and no laundry lines. I have a deep and rewarding emotional life which I share with my friends and family and which I memorialize in my writing. I just object to showing it in public. The closest I get to that is when I deliver a poetic address at some event.

I hug my wife and sometimes my kids, although mostly I just shake my son's hand as he is now 14. The baby is only 3 months old, so I still kiss the top of his bald little head.

32. Yes, because all women can cry on cue - we learned how at Gurlz Only Camp |
|
That's the secret camp every gurl must join in order to become part of the Wimmenz Club.
I must have missed the registration but my 9th grade homeroom teacher (male) told us all about it.
He was just making a joke after losing a fight with his wife, but clearly many here believe it. Even gurlz.

40. Isn't emoting the opposite of plotting and calculating? |
|
I don't how someone could plot a crying spell or cry on cue unless they were truly an accomplished actress. And to do it so subtly that you can just barely see a bit of wetness appear in the eyes would be a masterful acting performance. I think everyone feels pain, sorrow, happiness and a range of emotions, men and women. Men just have this absolute fear of showing sorrow in public because it supposedly makes them appear weak. They'd rather bite a finger off than show tears in their eyes. I'm sure what makes a women cry openly is also something that could make a man cry within. We all have human feelings.
