9. National polls are completely meaningless and I wish the press

would STOP proclaiming this sort of thing. Don't get me wrong - I am not "against" Obama (I'm an Edwards supporter who will enthusiastically support whoever gets the nom), but the ONLY numbers that matter at all are state-by-state polls where we can look at potential electoral vote numbers.

Never forget: Al Gore won by the national numbers. Didn't mean a thing in the end.
