1. Warning: stereotypes ahead!
I'm guessing women are more likely to pick up the phone during the Superbowl. I would think this would skew results towards HRC a bit. It seems the polls are moving towards BO, in the last day or two, however.

7. Or they left the house
while hubby stayed home with pals to watch. But frankly, at least at the party I was at, there were just as many women, though they weren't really watching the game.

9. That's why I put the warning. ;-)
In fact, I know many women who love football, while I am a guy who didn't even bother watching the Superbowl (And I am a former New Englander who lives in New York).

But the ads you see during football are definitely skewed towards men, which makes me think it has a larger male audience. If there is one thing advertisers pay attention to it's viewing demographics.

4. If they called before the game started, why not?
It didn't start until after six PM on the East Coast. If they did mid-morning-early afternoon calls, I imagine they got some decent data. Not everyone has beer for breakfast on Super Bowl Sunday....

8. But not all calls happen happen mid morning. The Super bowl started at 3PM on the West Coast
I think that would raise questions about those sampled in places like California.

10. I think it would miss the younger voters
More likely to be at a party than watching at home with family. We had basically an equal number of males and females at the party. Like a previous poster much less attention was paid by females.

11. Another question about this:
I'm guessing a significant number of respondents were, let's just say, "feeling groovy". Do you think a few beers and a couple pounds of nachos could change the way people respond?
