Walked by my polling place (a nearby elementary school) this morning and it was crazy with outside activity. People were handing out flyers, guys were handing newspapers to passersby saying, "Read about the true views of the candidates about the war", the sign for the bake sale, the kids always hold, was already up, people were standing on the corner discussing who they were voting for and why. I've never seen it like this before a GE much less the day before a primary. It was the same at the flea market yesterday. There is so much passion involved with this primary it's astounding. And while all of you may be duking it out here on DU, I can only think it's so much better than the despair that has been prevalent for so many previous years.

I'm going to be in agony with an entire day of unresolved issues. The primaries are much more maddening than the GE. At least with the GE you only have one day in Nov. to be anxious about. The primaries give you multiple chances to be on pins and needles.

No sneakin' Cons trying to steal another election (at this point anyway) and, we don't have to choose between their war mongering, dog strapped to the top of cars, sad sack candidates.
