Obama supporters: What are YOU going to do to bring about change?

Obama's ads and platform are predicated on the idea that he is going to get into office so that YOU can change the country. Please reveal exactly what actions you have taken or will be taking to make specific changes, things you wouldn't do otherwise. (Campaigning for Obama isn't enough--as that is, of course, a circular argument.) This is a serious question.

Every time somebody asks what Obama will change, I hear a chorus of "You don't get it! He's going to empower the people to make change from the bottom up!"

If that's true, I'd like to know what these "bottom up" people intend to do.
