Hate Hillary. Will not apologize for Iraq vote. why it's. Horseshit!
Gary Hart and most all Obama supporters in here keep repeating the thread about Hillary will not apologize for Iraq vote. "We all make mistakes." Hillary cannot even bring herself to say that. Why not, at least, say, "The president misled me?" She has, 100 times, didn't you watch the last debate? Gary Hart, YOU are an idiot.

Then most all obama folks say somnething to this effect: Given how tragically wrong that vote was, such an admission would be at the very least a signal of humility, responsibility, wisdom, and character. I say Horseshit.

Hell all you obama folks want is a video of Hillary saying "I made a mistake" so you all can replay it 10,000 times like you did Bill's "I did not have sex with that woman..."

To hear YOU OBAMA whiners tell the tale, if Hillary would just say, "It's all my fault," then 4,000 dead soldiers would magically return alive to their families but that Hillary is so stubborn that she just won't give that greatest gift to those 4,000 families.

We all know that's crap, so why do you keep harping on it? Could it be because --- that's all you have?

Why is it so important to hear Hillary say those four words? What would be gained from such a non-issue?

And do you want to know why I'm 100% certain that this is Horseshit? And do you want to know why I'm 100% certain that Gary Hart is an idiot? Because he forgave John Kerry for that same vote in 2004, but Hillary? Never.

YOU obama supporters want Hillary to go back in time and change her vote, which is kinda stupid.
It's OK for Kerry to have made that mistake - we all gave him a pass in 2004, but a Clinton?Never! They don't get the same pass that Kerry got - why?

Isn't it odd that nobody can answer that simple question? Gary Hart doesn't have the brains (or the courage) to answer that simple question. Can a question get any simpler?

Why does the war hero get a pass, but not the woman? If YOU can't answer that question, maybe that proves I'm right.

Sidebar:
If you want to make some horseshit accusation against Hillary, just go to huffingtonpost.com - they'll print anything that slurs Hillary, no matter how stupid, no matter how easily refuted.

4. HilBilly says she was "misled" about the WMD intelligence. She
Edited on Mon Feb-04-08 03:23 PM by coalition_unwilling
didn't even bother to read the full NIE.

Assuming she's telling the truth and was "misled," she would have to be almost the biggest dupe in American presidential history.

Assuming she's telling lies and was not "misled," one must then ask why she voted for the IWR. Was it so she would appear "tough" on national security? If so, her crass cynicism has caused the death, wounding and displacement of over 7 million Iraqi civilians. The blood is dripping from her hands. Drip, drip, drip . . . can you feel it, can you hear it, can you smell it?

Apologize???? Hell, anyone with a shred of self respect would resign. But not HilBilly

6. She shouldn't apologize. She voted for the IWR as a CYA for a future presidential bid,
as did Kerry, Edwards, Biden and Dodd. She's a smart, ambitious person (most good politicians are). None of the Dem senators who voted "no" have run for president. They can be easily depicted as weak liberals who are soft on defense. Those who voted in favor of it can portray themselves as tough and willing to use force in the world, when necessary.

She can't believably profess to have been fooled by Bush since so many of our senators without presidential ambitions saw through the lies and spin.

For a Democratic senator at the time with presidential dreams a "yes" vote on the IWR just made sense. If the war goes well, you are on the "winning" side and won't be hurt by the anti-war left in the long run. If the war goes poorly, there a several ways to deal with it politically. Kerry and Edwards did it their own ways. Hillary is doing it her way. In any case, they were forgiven by many if not all liberals.

It was a "smart" vote, at least from a personal political perspective, so why apologize for it.

8. because with "so much political experience"
she should have known better and should have shown HUMAN CHARACTER!

Millions of Americans knew from the beginning, that the attack, invasion and occupation of Iraq would lead to millions of deaths and loads of pain and suffering.

9. Force was not "necessary" in this case, as the post -invasion
record has made abundantly clear. The invasion and occupation were all based on lies.

Either HilBilly is history's biggest dupe ("I was misled") or she has the blood of 1 million Iraqi dead civilians drip, drip, dripping from her hands.

12. So she's saying she's stupid?
She's saying the President tricked her into supporting the war?

OK, but that would mean she's unqualified for office.

13. Hillary VOTED for Bush's war and you just can't accept that fact
She was a sucker. She got fooled. She had admitted that. She has never admitted she made a mistake.

You can pick the sucker who was fooled by Bush. That's the type of leadership you want. You admire a sucker.

Admit it.
