you cry at a funeral - fine.
you cry after a major life accomplishment - like your first child being born or you're an athlete who wins a championship - fine.
you cry at a major disaster - you lose a championship, or you get fired from your job or your wife or husband leave you, fine.

Everyone has a right to cry, of course, but you should expect people to have different reactions to it depending on the situation.

7. Extreme circumstances can excuse either. If you are at a funeral, it is quite possible that you may cry but please don't make a huge scene. In both cases containment is an issue.
