3. That's a big shift.
Either the poll is an out-lier or the state made a big jump over to Obama.

Of course, all the primary states have moved toward Obama over time as people get to know him better. The trends make it pretty obvious who can win in November.

6. I think it is a miracle that Hillary is this close with the MA Dem establishment
fighting against her. Most Dems who hate Hillary and Bill have fought harder against them than they did against the Republicans in 2000 and 2004.

Kerry always works better when he's the man behind the curtain where no one can see what his hands are doing.

16. Wrong. The Mass. Dem Machine is solidly behind Hillary.
They signed up early. John Kerry, Teddy, and Patrick are alternative voices to the state Dem party machine.

consider that before dismissing them.

14. And Hillary leads in other MA polls. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.
She still will probably win MA tomorrow. The point of 2/5 is for Obama to be close to her in delegates.

15. It also looks like Der Mittenfuhrer will actually carry Massachusetts for the Repukes.
If so, then that's one more reason not to even carry on a conversation with a Massachusetts Repuke.

Obama Closes on Clinton, But Doesn't Catch Her, Eve of Massachusetts Democratic Primary: 24 hours till votes are counted in Massachusetts, Barack Obama has late momentum against Hillary Clinton, and has gained ground while Clinton has remained flat, according to SurveyUSA's final pre-primary tracking poll, conducted for WBZ-TV Boston. At the wire, Clinton 56%, Obama 39%. The size of Clinton's victory will determine how many of Massachusetts' 121 delegates she takes to the Democratic National Convention. Obama leads by 20 among men. Clinton leads by 42 among women. A 62-point Gender Gap. Among voters under age 50, the contest is tied. Among voters age 50+, Clinton leads by 29. The number of young voters will determine how well Obama does relative to Clinton. If new, younger, first-time voters show-up in disproportionately large numbers, Obama may out-perform his 39% showing here.
