Poll question: Do you think repugs who say they like Obama (in regular conversation) are lying? |
|
This is loosely based on Bill Maher's show last week, where it was implied that repugs are only pretending to like Obama to throw us off.

2. It's a free shot to demonstrate post-racist fair-mindedness, while indulging Hillary hate |

I'd be shocked if Republicans didn't say they liked Obama.
It's not like they have to vote for him or anything...

6. I think most are being truthful, but they'll fall in line once the smear machine starts up |
|
Given enough smearage, most people will return to their political roots. Against Obama, Republicans are probably going to run a "suppress the turn-out" campaign by going ugly.

Regular people with whom you strike up a conversation who happen to be Repubs are mostly telling the truth, altho some are probably lying. Depends whether you've given them a reason to.
Every last swingin' dick of the right-wing media who says they like Obama is lying thru his or her ass.
Repubs who vote in a Democratic primary \may or may not be lying, depending on whether the Repub they like best has a chance in their particular state. If McCain or Romney wraps up the GOP nomination tomorrow, expect this number to go WAY up.

8. Not when Obama has given them such a cute nickname: Obamicans |
|
Of course they like him. He's going to go to the right and they like that. He will owe them after they help him win and they will collect.

9. Perhaps Obama is changing their views on some things. |
|
Ever thought of that? And is that a bad thing?
