Caution: Obama supporters...remember New Hampshire...
Edited on Mon Feb-04-08 07:33 PM by mckeown1128
The polling that shows improvement for Obama should be taken with a grain of salt. After the big disappointment in NH I was very cautious about Nevada. I posted something similar about not to expect to much from Nevada and I was blasted. Trust me tomorrow will be about a tie in the delegates. Be prepared though that the Clinton's results will look more impressive and the media will spin the results to death. Just stay hopeful but be cautious.

1. I totally agree.
And given how Obama's campaign has been surging - a tie or near tie will be a win, IMO. It will be enough momentum to push us through the other primaries and hopefully get some more key endorsements.

2. I agree. The Clinton machine, especially the Clinton slime machine, has been very good
during the primaries. I won't be surprised if the Clintons do really well tomorrow.

3. That's what I said today to coworkers backing Barack.
He has momentum, no doubt, but big rallies in New Hampshire couldn't overcome Hillary's tears. I don't think that will happen again (that tactic works just once), but you can tell by the extraordinary posts by the Hillary supporters here that she has passionate backers. Anyway, we are all hoping that Barack flattens her, but that may not happen. She isn't going to lock anything up on Tuesday, either.

Anyway, I finally get to vote Feb. 12, and can't wait to vote Obama. That's pretty much where most of the people I know and work with are coming from, too.

4. Make A Call
Tomorrow, 22 states across the country are holding Democratic caucuses and primaries.

You can help Get Out The Vote in these crucial contests by calling fellow supporters from your own home.

Use our online calling tool and make a difference today:

When Michelle and I talked about my running for president, one of the core goals we both had for this campaign was to leave the political process better off than we found it.

You have challenged conventional thinking and built a grassroots movement for change that is sweeping this country.

I have no doubt that the election tomorrow will be close, but you can help ensure that as many people as possible participate.

Make calls using our online calling tool and help Get Out The Vote:

http://my.barackobama.com/feb5calls

I believe that this movement for change can do more than just win an election. Together, we can transform this country.

Thank you for being part of this,

Barack

6. I agree
I don't think there's enough time to win states like California and New Jersey on SuperTuesday. But no matter. This is about delegates right now and this is a war of attrition. We have time and money on our side. HRC does not.

14. I posted only one.
I believe I was the first one to post it. I was only questioning the timing. I personally don't have a problem with politicians crying.

8. Yes
The media likes to pump things up, but the only polls that matter are elections. I will be thrilled if Barack is the big winner tomorrow, but I am prepared for the opposite. As long as he wins enough delegates to keep going after tomorrow we're okay.

9. There is but one reason HRC won NH.
I know it. And every other NH-ite knows it.

The MSM will spin it for the incumbent tomorrow. See: Florida. We're the underdog. Gobama.

10. I never count on a thing until the votes are counted.
Heck I am old enough to re-call the shock of Dewey not winning. My family were all in the GOP.

11. I agree but you should edit the subject to say "Caution".
I originally thought it said caption, as in a photograph.

12. Remember Iowa when the polls got it right.
Remember South Carolina when the polls got it right.

What's your point? That we shouldn't be hopeful?
