Why I GoPsUx ..am voting for Obama
First of all let me say that in my perfect world I would be voting for John Edwards
But in case you haven't noticed this isn't a perfect world.
Right now we have two viable choices we have Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama Two fine Americans who both would make wonderful Presidents.
But I can only vote for one.
I don't believe that the differences between them in policy are that different honestly.
So I must vote for whom I believe has the greatest chance of delivering us the Whitehouse.
I live on the border of Kansas and Missouri.Kansas always goes red but Missouri doesn't.
From what I see from my location more moderates and independents and even republicans are considering Obama over Clinton.
It is strictly numbers to me at this point.
I hear the argument about our party drifting to the right and I fear it as well.
But you cannot change anything if you do not have the power to make change.
And I refuse to do the scorched earth,3rd party, or not voting thing.
We need the Whitehouse!
Hillary Clinton can win..I am not saying she can't win..But it will be very hard IMHO to get the independents to her side against a man like McCain.
The reason I say this is because I like McCain..I would never vote for him and I am pissed at his Iraq stance..But he is very attractive to the independent vote.
This is part of the reason Why Obama is my Choice..I have never in all my years of politicking seen a democrat like this man actually become attractive to republicans..Not because of policy but because he inspires.
Saying this..The Clinton bashing as well as Obama bashing needs to stop..We are weather you like it or not on the same team.
I will vote for whomever gets the Democratic Nod and defend them the best I can.
The stakes are far to high.

Feel free to flame this thread or correct it's grammar or call me a troll.I don't give a flying _uck
But tomorrow on super Tuesday in Kansas city, Missouri I will cast my vote for Obama.
Peace and good luck to both camps tomorrow.

i'm still voting for Dennis, this is probably my last chance and he's still on my ballot
and yes i'm being selfish but his views are the closet to my own and just one time i want to vote for who i really want, in the GE i'll toe the line. My Obama supporting daughter is not pleased.

9. Tomorrow, in Bloomington Minnesota, I'm caucusing for Obama!
WOOT! For largely similar reasons. I too feel that Obama is a more likeable candidate and can better win the general election. McCain vs. Obama is old vs. new, past vs. future.

On a related note, I love how much the Repubs hate their own candidates!

12. Obama wasn't my first
choice either. And my choice to support Obama came after a lot of thought.

THe Reagan years were very good to us.Though it had more to do with the IT boom than it did with Reagan. I have no desire to return to those policies. It's not all about me. It never was. I didn't vote for him even when we were doing well.

The Clinton years were also very good to us. There was also all the other stuff. Clinton fatigue, I guess. Time to turn the page.

They aren't really that far apart on issues that are important to me. I'll be happy to support Clinton if she wins the nomination. But for now, my vote will go to Obama. Time to give the next generation a chance to govern. Obama seems like a good choice.

We shall see. Interesting times.

I believe change is going to be a high ranking factor in this cycle.
And to quote you "We shall see"
