Will we know for SURE who the REPUBLICAN nominee is after tomorrow?
I do not think we will have a clear democratic nominee after tomorrow. BUT, will we know for 100% sure who the republican nominee is tomorrow night? If so, who will it be? Will it be Romney or McCain?

I fear McCain. I worry that he will beat BOTH Obama and Hillary. I worry I will spend more time tomorrow cringing over which republican is winning verses which democrat.

1. The GOPig base hates McCain for arcane reasons
I think they still buy into his swiftboating. Or maybe it's the meme over here that he's an "honorable man" puts them off. I agree that he's the strongest but he's hardly unbeatable.

2. I bet we do
Many of the states are winner-take-all for the GOP. It'll be much more definitive than for the Dems.

I bet we know their nominee in the morning.

3. McCain Really Looks Old
Edited on Tue Feb-05-08 08:17 AM by DemocratSinceBirth
He's one of the few Republicans who is hard to hate...He doesn't bash gays...He doesn't bash immigrants...He doesn't bash liberals...

That being said I don't know if he's up to the rigor a national campaign imposes....

If McCain looked and talked like Romney he would be Reagan and we would be in trouble but he isn't...
