33. OMG it could not be in starker contrast to hers. |
|
Even after a few minutes of viewing it's like the dawn against the dark. Hers is staged and phony and insincere. It is a Rovian Potemkin infomercial. Obama's leading a movement.

Barack belongs to a church of my denomination -- UCC -- open and affirming. Doesn't that say it all.

... than watching Dan Abrams fluff for the establishment on MSNBC. :-)
I like watching CSPAN; I'm always hoping to hear one real nutter of a caller!

It's like they're all about to scream, "Ba-ba-BOOEY! Ba-ba-BOOEY!!"
And this is the most insane one yet. Mr. Fort Lauderdale.

Has anyone figured out any way to get their Tivo to catch Obama programs on Cspan - or know of any way to automatically be notified when Obama events are going to appear on cspan? I seem to always miss these things and would have missed it if I hadn't checked the board, though I have my Tivo set to record everything about Obama.
Thanks for posting this.

Until they change their programming, there's no way to catch it unless you just set it to continuously record.

39. Just came on, and I can't believe they screwed up the background again! |
|
The speaker on now is against a black curtain with metal pipes. Unfuckingbelievable. I hope there's a change made before Barack gets on.
They killed the St. Louis event Saturday night by having the camera show Barack against a black curtain with a few local pols sitting behing him. It killed his message. How hard is it to get real people to sit behind the candidate and at least against a more colorful curtain? I understand at these large arenas he's on a raised stage, but there are ways to work around it to have a more pleasing background.
They screwed up today in New Jersey also. Did anyone not realize that the Meadowlands is in the middle of fucking nowhere? On a Monday at Noon? If you're going to have a large event during the workday, it has to be in a central urban location. Who's going to commute through the hell that is New Jersey highways to get to a rally from work? You would need to take the day off work, but because the event wasn't announced until Saturday people couldn't even make arrangements in advance. Should've been in Newark where they could still get the free media, but at least have a large live audience.
