High horses are for fools. Don't try to tell me that Hillary supporters haven't been flinging crap |
|
as well, cause that's the attitude I get from some people. News flash: BOTH sides have put out plenty of vile slime. Nobody has the moral high ground. I could just laugh when someone posts self-righteous garbage about how the other side bashes their precious candidate when five minutes earlier they were writing a 'ZOMG Obama is a cheating liar' or 'Hillary is a bloodthirsty warmonger' and 'all you candidate supporters of candidate x are astoundingly stupid and naive.' Please. If what you want to have is a circle jerk, where you and your echo chamber wank one another off with whining about being oppressed by the big mean DU trolls, go ahead. Have fun. But don't try and declare some sort of moral imperative. We are knee deep in mud at this point. Let's not try and make this into what it isn't.

3. This is just the rough and tumble of bare knuckle politics |
|
But the real question is....who are ready to fight for the nominee, even it's not their pick?
I know I am (I'm for Obama), and said so. Do you know how many "I'll never vote for Obama even if he gets the nomination!" posts I have seen? I have lost count of them.
THAT is what should concern you.

7. It does concern me. I've seen lots of 'I won't vote for Hillary no matter what' posts too. |
|
And I have a word for both sides of that coin: morons. I will fight like hell to see our nominee in the white house.

10. Trying to be as unbiased as possible, I really think the lion's share of the intransigence |
|
is on the Hillary side. I cannot believe their histrionics and hate over the last few days.

Obama saying something STUPID? Never! Hillary making a MISTAKE? Perish the thought! Admit nothing. Justify everything.

17. LOL. I meant how should we differentiate our candidates? |
|
Negative campaigning is stupid in primaries, especially this one when we are fighting for our very freedom. That is, freedom to benefit from the social and technological advances over the past century....
So anyway, I think I'll probably vote for Hillary tomorrow since her rhetoric matches her actions. I think Obama as a VP would be fine. But I slightly prefer Hillary.

18. I think Hillary as pres and Obama as VP would be great. |
|
Then Obama can pick up the torch once Hillary's 8 years are up. Just my IMHO. I think we can differentiate between our candidates without pumping slimy lies and speculation...that doesn't distinguish the candidates...just dirties them. Dirty dirty dirty.
