Ugh, no more polls, thank God! |

One of the things I feel happy about is that after today no more polls will be published. I love election results. They are 100% accurate! Well, with Diebold they are sometimes 105% accurate! or something like that, but you get the point.
The election results are also spin-free (if fair). It's not difficult to find a poll thread in which 10 different theories are put forth explaining what the poll numbers mean.
But maybe I'm wrong and a flurry of polls will be released tomorrow as well.
Hope not.

If I'm not mistaken, back in 1995 when I left the Dominican Republic, polls were banned for the last week of the elections. I believe they were seen as likely to sway voters.

on the other hand, if your candidate is, like mine, the beneficiary of late-breaking momentum, it can helpful. But on balance, i think it would be a good idea.
