Affirmations: Listen to Barack Obama and feel good about yourself and America
When you cleanse your soul of the negativity, the possibilities left to us are enormous. We have yet to begin. That's what Barack does for me. I feel good!

3. Some feel sick that this unprepared lacking in ability to get things done business partner of crooks
con man was able to play the race card I am a victim and thus likely get the nomination - rather than trying to get votes via his amazing speaking ability.

But then the corporate media bought his small step change mantra last Dec and have been pushing him 24/7

Afraid GOP/McCain will eat him alive.

9. Neither of them thrill me
but there is a lot to be said for someone who can move the masses who usually pay no attention to politics. It is a gift to be able to do it and I don't discount that. A lot can get done. There is a real hunger out there for something different. I don't discount that either. I just want a Dem to win.

11. Um... yeah. So. What about health care? And immigration policy? And the mortgage crisis?
If I want to feel good, I'll read a book or spend time with friends or volunteer. I'm not interested in feeling good and forgetting about the structural problems in this country.

19. And somehow I thought that the Democrats were supposed to be the party that stood for those
who ARE "beaten down by life." Those who do the beating, or who live the charmed life of golden youth have always had the Republicans to look after their interests. Now they get our party as well?
