1. And then she insulted his entire legacy.
Which only goes to show that you can be nice to someones face and be "inspired", and then destroy their legacy later for your own political agenda.

She does it here also: http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/2/1/234527/0014/392/448115

25. Of course it was necessary.
They can't help themselves; thus the justification to express their hurt and anger. Thin skinned, like Lord Barack.

29. So she was "inspired" by MLK, then enthusiastically supported a guy who opposed the Civil Rights Act
The cognitive dissonance among the Hillaryites is truly breathtaking.

12. So inspired that in 1964, she supported Goldwater who was against MLK
One of Goldwater's main issues that he ran on was to not allow the Civil Rights Act to pass in 1964.

Hillary was a Goldwater Girl. So after shaking MLK's hand, she decided to give him the finger.

That's judgment. That's experience.

:boring:

17. I wish she talked more about her early life. She once had a job on a fishing pier in Alaska
Doing very physically hard, dirty (and disgusting) work to earn money for college.

Her mom was abandoned by her grandparents and grew up taking care of herself from the age of 13.

Hillary's personal story of her early life is fascinating.

24. No, not kidding. It's in "Living History". I almost dropped the book.
I wish she talked more about the difficulties of her early life, what her parents went through, etc.

Of course if she did, she'd probably be accused of trying to play on our sympathy, feel sorry for her, etc.

I didn't read the whole thing so I don't know if it's a positive or negative piece but it is discussed.
