1. I think it could actually help. |
|
People will take off work to go to the parade, which will be over by the early afternoon (the team is scheduled to celebrate with the fans at Giants Stadium in NJ at 2:30 pm). There will be plenty of time to vote after that. :-)

3. Will they be allowed to vote drunk? |
|
And what about their joyful sobbing? Will that get them 86ed from the voting booth?

5. Not much since many radio and local TV stations are encouraging people |
|
to vote. The NY parade starts at 11am. While the NJ parade starts at 2:30pm. I'm sure many speakers will encourage people to VOTE at the parade. After both parades Tri-state area people will have plenty of time to go and vote. I'm not worried. http://www.1010wins.com/Giants-to-Celebrate-in-N-J--After-New-York-Parade/1594319

6. Those lever machines are complicated... |
|
The Shoup Voting Machine Company never intended for them to be operated drunk. Mayhem could ensue! :P
Seriously, though, I think it's a wash. If it benefits anyone, maybe it's Hillary a little bit, since I expect more young men to be going to this, at least based on the crowds of dudes milling around Union Square last night shouting "Giants!" to nobody in particular. Those particular guys don't seem like the most politically active types, though, and are among the least likely groups to vote in the first place, IMO.
Plus, there's the whole skipping work thing, like BattyDem said, which might cause more people to vote. It's hard to say, but I don't think it's going to throw the vote too far off in either direction.
