12. Wow, what a stunningly brilliant observation
:eyes:

Bill Clinton isn't running either, but that doesn't stop the Obamaniacs from getting their panties in a wad over him every day.

25. Nicely done, Tarc. That was my first thought too when I saw the pictures - doesn't Ted have
anything to do? As a MA resident I'm a little sick and tired of seeing my elected officials, mine because I pay their salary, stumping 24/7 for candidates.

I'd rather see the celebs w/ him, at least we're not paying their salaries.

14. Nothing does say change like the liberal lion of the Senate.
Which is why Bill Clinton lobbied him for his endorsement.

18. f'n hugh!!1!
The line to get in was well over a mile long. I kept going up to the bridge to get a look and take pics (last time about 5:45-6pm) and at that time I couldn't see the end of the line as it trailed off into the distance. The hall holds 10K people and there were mobs of people outside and on the bridge as capacity had been reached. We were one of the first to get in and as such, ended up being some of the last to leave.

When I have a chance (probably tonight) I plan to write a long detailed review of the live experience. Some of the people in the pix we got to hang out with and we have some good stories. :patriot:

31. That's b/c of where the media riser was located,
kinda in the middle of the room, so it only got the people directly in front and to ths sides of the stage. The room was much bigger than I guess it would look from that angle. :)

22. No, not at all

Bi-Baby and I are political junkies and watch every rally that's on tv, and I would have been perfectly happy doing the same last night. That being said, wow! what an experience it is to be there live. It's just a totally different perspective. It was also exhausting, and I think I lost a few pounds sweating as we were so close, we were under the stage lights. Those things are hot. x(

29. the sweating is interesting,
because I was wondering how cold it was there! Glad to know frostbite was not an issue.

I had to speak on a small stage once, and since have great respect for people who don't pour buckets of sweat and squint constantly under those conditions. It was awful.

Rallies don't come around here much - downtown Tampa and Orlando mostly - so its hard to get to one for me.

But Kerry had a rally at USF the day after he wiped the floor with Bush at the debate - oh, there was a great feeling in that room!

There should be some awesome pics of 2 kids we let stand in front of us at the guardrail - and every photographer just had to get pictures of the 2 kids.

8. I found the sixth one slightly unnerving.
I mean, damn, my Mother is behind Obama.

Those people on the rail just look too nice.

I don't think I want to be on that Team.

But what the heck, I am going to vote on any viable organism with a (D) behind their name(s).

we were standing by these two munchkins. The girl next to them in the green shirt is one of 3 teachers who came down from Maine for the rally.
