Pleeeaase! Let there be no clear winner tomorrow! |
|
Who were the jackasses who thought we should settle on an "inevitable" candidate 6 months before the convention, anyway? Whoever it is will be nicely set up to be the sole target of the Repub slime machine for that long stretch of time. Therefore, hope for a tie, seriously.

1. Those were the jackasses who thought that Hillary would be the "inevitable" nominee |
|
Usually a front loaded primary benefits the candidate with the most corporate money. This time she ran into serious competition.
As much as I would like to see a complete Obama-lition tomorrow, my gut feeling is that this won't be decided until the convention. Hopefully the next primary schedule will be a little more balanced.

2. I feel so strongly about this that I'll switch to Clinton if Obama is far ahead |
|
I mean that. I despise the corporate and MSM ownership of our elections.

3. trust me, clinton is far ahead now. she is funded by the very companies that are draining americans |
|
dry. insurance federal lobbyists need her to win, Obama doesn't take fed lobbyist money or PAC money.
Follow the money, not the media. 90% of Obama's donations are small donations from REAL AMERICAN PEOPLE.
Nearly all of Hillarys money is from lobbyists.

5. Please don't go that far. |

Hasn't 28 years of the same old crap been enough? This corporate machine we're talking about owes its existence to the BushClintons. We can't get rid of it, until we get rid of them.

there wont be.
Proportional delegates are looking better to me all the time. If this thing was all or nothing it would be over tomorrow for sure just like the puke one is going to be.

9. I'm not so sure the 'Pukes are done tomorrow either. |
|
If the 'Puke establishment wanted McCain, why didn't they go with him in 2000 when he was obviously their best candidate?
It's true that a lot of the corporatists have switched to Hillary, but the ones that didn't are probably staying with Mittens. He's one of them. And Jeb & Poppy are in his corner. Admittedly, I haven't paid any attention to the Republican polls (and damn little to the Democratic polls) but who says the 'Pukes would play fair anyway? ;)

10. I think we're going to see Clinton and Obama on the same ticket |
|
I'm not sure of the order, but I think we'll see it happen. I know that notion has been poo-pooed here because two camps have formed trenches, battle lines, and the shelling goes on all day long. Maybe Clinton and Obama hate each other. In fact, I think they probably do. But there's going to be so much emotion and passion invested on either side that the Democratic Party is going to insist on it. I don't see how they avoid that happening, as this is an extradinary year with two 'firsts' that are possible. I think on DU we're eventually going to throw down our rifles and get drunk together in the middle of no-man's land, joining each other's side. And the Democratic Convention this year will be a tumultuous affair, a paroxysm of progressive fervor. Can you imagine Bill Clinton, Michelle Obama, Al Gore, Barack, and Hillary giving speeches, and Melissa Etheridge getting up and sending everyone into absolute orbit singing her hit "I've Been Asleep" with the passion she brings to that song? It will be seen as a watershed of Democratic power, unity, and self-confidence. Separately, I think Clinton and Obama are diminished. Together, they will be a real force, a tidal wave greater than the sum of the parts.
