4. No because that means we are facing the rethug's strongest candidate
Romney is such a bad candidate that neither of our candidates will have trouble beating him. One of our candidates starts the game slightly behind McCain while the other is barely ahead despite not having been attacked by the rethugs yet.

McCain will be VERY hard to beat. The white male swing voters will be drawn to him like a magnet, and I don't think either of our candidates can attract them.

And what you wrote about our candidates not having been attacked by the smear machine is dead on; it will come so fast, from so many directions that our nominee had better have a WAR ROOM. Which one is likely to have one?
