1. Unless he rises to the occasion and changes tactics,...
...I think McCain will be the worst presidential candidate either party has ever seen in modern history. He's TERRIBLE. I'd put either of our Dems up against him. Not being cocky, just basing that confidence on their campaigns. Anything could happen, but barring any scandals, Obama or Clinton would wipe the floor with him.

I hope.

2. That is what some Dems said about Reagan in 1980
And look what happened. McCain will attract the white male swing voters like a magnet. They don't see him as terrible, but as a war hero who can be Commander in Chief. If we fail to understand this, we will lose.

4. not just "swing" voters
I was talking to my commie brother last night (really, he's about as left wing as they come), and he said he'd vote for McCain over Clinton, and possibly over Obama - he'd never vote for Romney or Huckabee though.

3. It will be a bitter battle between
Corporate Amurka

and

Corporate Amurka

I am going out on a limb and predicting that Corporate Amurka will win.

5. Obama v. McCain
The win going to Obama, in a record turnout.
