Before working on Bill's 92 campaign, Krugman worked for Reagan's Council of Advisers
Paul Krugman is a professor of economics at Princeton University. In 1991 he won the American Economic Association's John Bates Clark Medal, given every two years to "that American economist under the age of 40 who is adjudged to have made a significant contribution to economic thought and knowledge." He has been a consultant to the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the United Nations, the Trilateral Commission, and the U.S. State Department. He was also on the staff of President Reagan's Council of Advisers. He was an adviser to Bill Clinton during the 1992 presidential campaign.

And he acts like he's the expert on what Liberals need! Interesting!

2. For a single year, he was a token liberal on Reagan's council of economic
advisors. The fact that he was trying to make a positive contribution speaks well of him, not badly.

If you have read his books you wouldn't doubt his progressive credentials.

3. So that explains it. I've been really perplexed at his animosity towards Obama.

4. I don't think it's animosity. He is just stating his opinion that the health
plan isn't economically feasible without including the whole population, including the (currently) well and the (currently) sick.

6. Oh, are we still smearing Krugman?
That is sooo yesterday.

Don't you know that Joe Wilson is today's enemy?

7. I really don't care, he's just wrong
on health care mandates. It works on paper, it's wrong in the real world. Even Edwards acknowledged that because his plan called for mandates at the end of his reforms, not at the beginning.
