7 am and the polls were doing a brisk, steady business.

My only caveat is that all the badges (aside from cop badges) said Republican Inspector.

I've never voted this early so I asked the cop if this was normal for this hour and she said, NO. I was only behind two people. A few other EDs had longer lines, but mostly it was steady and busy, but not jammed. I suspect there will be long lines later so I'm glad I got it over with.

And a tall blond guy was doing exit polls but didn't ask me.
