I Want Unbiased Super-Tuesday Coverage. What Station Should I Watch? |
|
Edited on Tue Feb-05-08 08:27 AM by DemocratSinceBirth
I find MSNBC the most entertaining but also the most biased...That presents a dilemma...

1. PBS has the closest to non-biased, but only a couple hours each day.. |

Let's face it, as soon as the big corporations buy into networks, they will influence the reporting. period.

2. Don't watch any stations, they won't return any results until after the polls close. |
|
So wait until the polls close in each timezone and tune in to whatever station you please, get the raw numbers, and turn the TV back off.

11. What are the Young Turks doing ? |
|
They have done excellent online stream video coverage with a bloggers chat. I am again at the Clinic using my PDA at the moment and can't go check in a timely fashion plus; I have Doctors Sick Call going on.

I know there really is no good choice. I keep changing stations. Even on cnn I just heard Crowley say it was to hard to explain how the Delegates are chosen she couldn't explain it. and that's from one of the best political teams. msnbc has been bashing Hillary for years non stop Last election McCain was the darling Kerry could do nothing right. This year it was all Rudy, Rudy, Rudy despite all his excess baggage now it's back to McCain (bomb bomb bomb iran).

8. C-Span is the most objective |

But I'll probably watch MSNBC, for Keith Olbermann, and to watch Tweety's head explode when things turn out differently than he expects.

10. BBC America World News |
|
The BBC has an hour-long newscast in the evenings especially tailored for Americans. It's good.
Not ongoing coverage, but for a break from the usual suspect pundits and with a different twist it's worth it if you can get BBC America. It's early evening and at 10 p.m.

15. I agree with you about MSNBC! and |
|
while I realize that pretty much EVERY station is biased, I find I prefer CNN on election nights. I just love the huge LCD screens they have behind the pundants. I love who they interact with the screens and how the anchors stand and walk around instead of sit behind desks.
IDK, I just like CNN's presentation a lot more.
I recommend CNN for that reason.
I don't watch MSNBC on election nights for the most part. Which is funny, because I watch Hardball everyday. I know Hardball is biased but I don't want that kind of heavy bias in my election results.
