What time do the polls close in the east? Do they all close at the same time? Same question for Central, Rocky Mountain and Western States.
Will the press start reporting results in the east and in central states before the polls close in the west?
Thanks in advance.

Some of these are caucuses so the times might not be precise, any state I left out is also a caucus with no general closing time.

4. Looking at the schedule |

Obama wins will mostly come in the first wave of states. In fact based on some polling, Clinton might not see a win until Arkansas at 8:30, but that assumes CT, NJ, and MA go against the conventional widsom. Regardless, if we look at the pace results have been coming in so far this election cycle, close states probably will not be called until 2-3 hours after closing. If that holds up, Obama may be way ahead when the East coast heads to bed, only to wake up to a Clinton turn around later on.
