Dear Michelle Obama, why can't all just get along?
From a recent interview with Michelle Obama:

"Michelle Obama went on Good Morning America today and sent decidedly mixed signals as to whether she'd back Hillary, should she become the nominee. Michelle did say that everyone would work hard for "whoever the nominee is." But when asked directly whether she'd back Hillary, she said: "I'd have to think about that."

So, everyone on DU will support whomever becomes the democratic nominee but Michelle is struggling.

She said she's have to consider campaigning for Clinton. Shame on you.

10. It's pretty thick in here.
People insist on misrepresenting what others say. You are correct. The question was in regard to campaigning for, not voting for.

3. Not true...
"So, everyone on DU will support whomever becomes the democratic nominee but Michelle is struggling."

I've seen many many folks around here state that they will not hold their nose and vote for Clinton. So Michelle Obama is stating something that many on here have said--she is hardly alone.

Personally, I will support the party nominee. I just hope its not Clinton because her negatives are so high that we will have Prez McCain.

I won't vote for Obama even if wins the nomination

I refuse to vote for someone whose ego is so great and whose preference of the private insurance industry over uninsured Americans is so strong that he would kill the chance to reform our health care system for political gain.

Such a candidate is a disgrace to the Democratic Party.

I will encourage other Dems to do the same.

everyone on DU will support whomever becomes the democratic nominee

5. I think a lot of us share that same sentiment
I'll support the nominee, but I'll also not feel very good about it being Hillary. She's stronger than any of the Repubs, but she was my least favorite of the Dems. She'll get my vote if she is, but I have strong reservations about her.

Also, I believe the question to Michelle Obama was whether she would campaign for Hillary if she was the nominee.

12. why are you wishing people to drop dead because they have a different view or candidate choice from
yours? and why are you wishing people to drop dead because they can discern michelle obama's snooty disengenuousness?

you, who as a veteran supposedly fought for democracy, and isn't the democracy the right of people to speak freely and freely choose who they want to vote for?

same on you!

of those schoolyard kids. I'm not coming to the party if you don't beg me.
I'm sick of these idiots on both sides.
And I am an Obama supporter. For the moment.

15. Even though Obama did great with black folk in S.C., Michelle
has already laid the foundation of blame when he loses. Remember back in December when I wrote that Michelle Obama thought if her hubby did not win the nomination it was because black folk didn't have enough self esteem. Now as the primaries go forward there seems to be an erosion going on in the black community and moving back towards HRC. So when obama gives his concession speech sometime in late March then watch for Michelle Obama to blame it all on the "black folk"....

This is another example like the one above by elixir that shows michelle is not ready for prime time.

16. Listen to the AUDIO, people. She was asked if she would WORK TO SUPPORT.. not Vote, not "back"..
and to me, work to support means "will you get out and campaign". Maybe that's what it means to her, too, and I don't freakin blame her if she doesn't want to commit to CAMPAIGNING for Hillary Clinton. Holy sheesh.
