WHERE do you vote?

someone's porch? A sufing museum? A laundromat?

The idiocencracies (you could so lack of comformity) of our election process is as endearing as it coudl be seen as alarming.

3. Int'l Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Hall (Chicago)
A large auditorium space, in which three separate precincts have registration tables, voting booths/machines, and scanners.

It's also a place used for many of our local community group meetings, alderman's open houses, etc.

11. well, apparently my small town has at least 2 places
i went to the town hall, but was told that my street has to vote at the middle school
which was probably a rock throw away :)

Now that's democracy.

I guess we could set up a polling place at the mobile home park's clubhouse and watch all the folks who live along the golf course vote here.

27. Chicago Park District building on the Northside
Not exotic at all. but it beats the hell out of the creepy Catholic church I used to go to when I lived 8 blocks from where I am now.

It bugged me to vote in a church. God has nothing to do with man's electoral process, IMO.
