My Phone Call from Jack Nicholson Last Night (humor)

I got a call from Jack Nicholson last night telling me to vote for Hillary Clinton.

I tried to interrupt - "Hey, Jack!" "Jack!" "Jack, I can do your voice!" but he just kept talking and talking, like he couldn't even hear me.

Finally, I yelled in my best Jack Nicholson voice - "You can't handle the truth!! Deep down in places you don't like to think about, you realize that I already voted absentee for Obama! I'd just appreciate it if you'd say 'thank you for voting' and go on to the next call."

And he kept talking about Hillary being "ready on day one", so I gave up and hung up the phone. I hope I didn't hurt his feelings, it being Jack Nicholson and all.

A friend who was at my place for dinner just looked at me from the dinner table and said, "You're paying way too much attention to this election."
