Who remembers Vote Pat Paulson and sending a message "none of the above"? |
|
Reading about those who are doing this, voting conscience and "none of the above" and voting for Edwards. I came of age during Pat Paulson and Snoopy yrs and remember people voting for them as a message "none of the above".

1. That was also used in "Brewster's Millions," wasn't it? |
|
Besides, you know if that were an option, one of the Repugs would just change their name by election night.
Romney: See? They knew I was changing my name, and they're ready for change!

the Smothers Brothers' show was my favorite - they even had the Who and the Doors as musical guests. Pretty radical at the time. Paulsen was a regular who started his campaign from the show.

7. Many initial post-Soviet Russian elections had that as an option. |
|
At least I remember reading at the time that they did. Lots of new elections had to be called, because "none of the above" won fairly often.
