If Hillary wins New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and California today, does she gloat? |
|
Not a Hillary supporter, but I was wondering what happens tonight if Hillary wins these 4 states and declares herself the "big winner" who "can't be stopped." The spinners will be out in force.
Will the Obama camp be dissappointed without a victory in these states?

3. No doubt, but she'll spin and trumper her "triumph" no matter what |
|
Obama needs to only make it close in those states. I think he will win California and New Jersey and make it respectable in the rest. If he does this, then he will be very tough to beat.

NY- No, if he can break 40% that will be a victory especially if Clinton is under 35% in IL NJ- No, if it's close, within 5 points CA- Yes, a close win by Clinton here still gives her bragging rights about carrying the largest state.
But the race is in the delegates and it will be 10-20 difference between the two I'm guessing at the end of tonight's results.

5. She's SUPPOSED to win all four of those states. |
|
That would be like Obama bragging about winning Kansas, Illinois, and Georgia.

10. She is expected to win those states by a large margin |
|
I can't see any scenario in which she would lose.
The Clinton people have been manufacturing this as a close match-up. It's not. Hillary will win the vast majority of these states today.

11. One of Hillary's best strengths is allowing her opponent(s) to save face. |
|
She does not gloat. She does not engage in petty mockery of others, like some people do: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x4404898IMHO, there will be no clear front runner when today's results are in.
