I am not voting for Obama or Clinton - both just upset me with the dirty tactics they used during the primaries; however, I will support the eventual nominee in the general election 110%.

I'd skip today if it wasn't for the fact that we have a hot race for the democratic governor nomination. Whoever wins in this election will probably be the next governor of Delaware since the only viable republican candidate dropped out of the race leaving the nutjob repuke that even republicans won't endorse

Edit note - I'm voting Jack Markell. STill not sure between Blunt or Denn for Lt. Governor.

5. Delaware is a pretty blue state

The guy who was thinking of running for governor on the repuke ticket was Alan Levin, the son of the founder of Happy Harry's Discount Drugs. So Levin would definately come into this race with his own money and Happy Harry's is a Delaware institution - well it was, until Alan Levin sold it out to Walgreens.

People here in Delaware aren't to happy with the the sale. Happy Harry's is now no longer a Delaware thing although Walgreens opted to keep the Happy Harry's name in use in Delaware instead of switching to Walgreens name. But the product they offer at the new Walgreens isn't as good PLUS (and this sounds stupid but it's the truth) the bags they use for your purchase are so fricking cheap. They use to use these really well-made bags that could be re-used again and again.

I think Levin realizes that beating the democrat would be a major uphill battle & investment PLUS right now his name isn't too popular in the state with some folks. The guy running now is one of those Don Quixote types that run in every race and comes out looking like the village idiot. Kinda like the Ralph Nadar of the republican party.
