Do you really think that Obama can handle,,,r |
|
all of the problems that Bush left this country to deal with.. The recession/depression, the war, and many problems that we all know of. He tells us all of the problems but not how he will deal with them. You may say that Hillary doesn't have the experience but Hillary has worked in and around all levels of government and having Bill as her husband is a plus, this is not the time to be dealing with a amateur who starts whining once he is confronted with issue. If his wife is saying that she won't support Hillary if she is the nominee how can they bring the country together.

Since Hillary will likely have negative coattails (after she fires up the GOP base), she might be working with a Republican congress.
Obama... who would likely have strong POSITIVE coattails, would be working with a strongly Democratic congress.
So yes.... Obama would get more done.

3. Why, yes. I think he's quite capable of handling |

things. And Bill isn't on the ballot. Furthermore Michelle did not say that she wouldn't support Hillary if she's the nom. that's a lie.

like you who are looking for prescriptive answers able to handle what Obama is asking of you as a citizen of this nation. Are you able to handle the work that needs to be done? Are you willing to join in? Barack is able. My family is willing and able. We will join in and work to clean up this mess.

to deal with. I fear that it as bad as we think it is, they will learn it's FAR worse.
I wouldn't want that job for the world.

7. Michelle Obama will support the Democratic nominee |
|
No matter how many times it is erroneously claimed she said she won't.
As for the actual candidate Obama's abilities, yes, he can.

By her cagey attitude among other things we were led to believe Mechelle would not support Hillary. If by chance Obama is the nominee I can see Michelle running off at the mouth constantly while obama refuses to see or shake hands with anyone he has a spat with.Like it or not that's the way I see it.

It is not what she said. She would think about whether or not she would be out actively working for Hillary. Since when do candidate's spouses have to swear they will, anyway? Maybe she needs to get back to her career as the primary bread winner for her family with a husband in public service. But she was perfectly clear that she and all Democrats will unite behind the nominee.
Refusal to shake hands is another lie. Hillary never reached out a hand to Barack. Ted Kennedy reached out to shake her hand and she reached to take his hand.
It's a shame the truth has been so twisted on DU. It really makes me sad.

they will bring the country together, because her answer sure isn't showing that they will. She and her husband seem to get very angry over petty issues. They should have known when he threw his hat in the ring that a lot would be thrown at them. They haven't seen nothing yet.

12. "Hillary has worked in and around all levels of government " |
|
Really... where exactly did she do this?
And lets leave out the "First Lady" positions, as she was never hired or elected to those, not to mention that they are hardly important policy positions. (except when Bill named her to the first health care reform panel... but that didn't really work out all that well so...)
I always think it's funny when Clinton people start slamming Obama for his "lack of experience"... given that he was at least elected to a lower office before running for the Senate. Her first elected job was junior US Senator from NY.

13. Can Obama handle it? Yeah, he's as smart as any candidate we have, don't you think? |
|
Many of us feel that both our candidates can win the GE and can handle the job of president.
If you feel that one of them is not up to the job, we view them differently.

I bet he has a great team around him when he takes the oath (hard to have a worse one than the current POTUS).
I just thing that he can move a ways that Hillary would not have the option to.
I am sad to say that even if Hillary wins she will have a dickens of a time working with a GOP congress.
Obama will not have that obstacle to overcome.
