Report From My University Polling Site

For those who didn't see it, which is probably a lot of you, I made this post a few days ago about the sudden buzz surrounding the primary at my school.

I was flyering for Obama around the polling site today and at 1pm, 95 Democrats had voted (and 5 Republicans lol). As I said, 54 total had voted in the 2004 general election, so these numbers are strong and are likely to rise a lot as classes start ending. Also keep in mind, it was raining most of this morning and afternoon, which also probably dampened the turn out.

Let's see if the youth can carry Obama one more time!

1. All the students I talked to on campus today

(About 10) are voting Obama. Male and Female, White, Black, Asian... :)

2. Both my voting-age nieces (college) are big on Obama.

Actually, I think everyone in the extended family on my husband's side is big on Obama, except for his 84-year-old mom, who is a diehard Clintonite. Many of us have tried to talk her out of her vote, but she's stubborn. :)
