MASSIVE turnout in western NY state: Only one voting machine, 20-plus people in line.
I voted a little earlier today. One voting machine for my entire town of 5,000 and the surrounding area. 20-odd people in line the entire time I was there, with the line at one point actually poking out the door. The poor old ladies who were manning the polling station were being run ragged.

5. Not sure. I've heard that most of the local Dem party base around here dislikes Hillary.
So says a local Dem I know whose mother is the town Dem Party treasurer. However, upstate is also considered solid Hillary territory by the analysts.

8. If I had to say, I'd suspect that my area would probably favor Obama.

More moderate Republican crossovers, plus we've got part of Erie County, which has a substantial black population that would be motivated to get out and vote. That said, I'm in the reddest red part of the district.

2. My mom and dad live in Amherst. When they voted this morning, 400
Democrats had voted and only 100 Republicans!

3. All upstate will go heavily for Hillary
She's the one NY Senator in a long time who even gives a rat's ass about Upstate and visits frequently to meet with people. Even in the ultra conservative areas, people respect her for coming to speak with them and doing the work to learn about their issues. I have to think that Hillary wins HUGE in all of Upstate.

7. So I've heard, but this county voted Spencer over Clinton in 2006.
Not a whole lot of Clinton love there.

4. We had 50-75 people in line in Prescott Valley AZ. Polling places reduced 100 to 25.
