anyone else feeling left out? |
|
I'm in Maryland. Our primaries are next Tuesday. Seeing all the traffic in DU this Super Tuesday, and listening to Randi go on and on about the historical significance of today's Dem vote, I'm feeling soooo left out.
But also secretly relieved. I have no idea who to vote for!

18. I honestly don't know. |

My best friend just called from LAX - he flight just arrived from Seattle and he's on his way to vote. He asked me who he should vote for? I told him I honestly didn't know.
If I were standing there and thought: Clinton, then I'd think yeah, but...(concerns I have about Hillary) If I were standing there and thought: Obama, then I'd think yeah, but...(concerns I have about Obama) If I said hell, I'll just vote for Biden -- then I'd think yeah, but.....(concerns that if I do that, the better person won't get my vote - but WHO is the better person?)
This is just insane!
YOU don't have to worry about it! :hi:

Primaries use to be more spread out. When they bunched them together in '04, NC didn't care to change. They stayed the same this go-round as well.
If Wes or Joe Biden were on the ballot, it would be an easy decision. As of now I am trending toward Hillary. There are a number of reasons:
I live in a state that was hit by a lot of hurricanes in the 90's The Clinton administration with FEMA was excellent. A lot of those people in NOLA wouldn't have died if Bill or Hillary had been in charge. I am convinced of that. The historical town of Princeville, NC, founded by freed slaves, was totally flooded and destroyed by Hurricane Floyd. Clinton got the military involved immediatly, cut short a trip to New Zealand, and everyone was saved. He then created the "Princeville Model" involving all his Cabinet Secretaries. The town was brought back from nothing.
The "Princeville Model" was meant to be used as a guide by others----only Bush didn't care. }(

and apparently many people in Virginia are also. I just heard on CNN that many people in VA turned out at the polls to vote, only to find out that there primary is NEXT Tuesday.
I just thought that was kind of funny.
