Any one else like to toast Democracy?

People are voting in primaries in the largest percentage of voters in decades (Ok I'm guessing thats true)

I think it calls for a toast. A toast to the end Bush a little early and emerging from 7 years or more of darkness.

Every time, it feels so great! And so many of my fellow students were pumped to get out of class and get to their voting locations! :toast:

If you feel that is happening then I cannot blame you. I just don't believe the system is rigged that way. I could go into my view of what happened in 200 and 2004 but I dont want to upset you.

12. No, I dont believe we're living in a democracy right now - and

it doens't look like we will be again anytime soon.

The patriot act and various other fascistic new laws have to go and

the Constitution and Bill of Rights and civil rights restored before

we're a democracy again.

That is of course if you equate democracy with Freedom
