Prediction: Barack Obama if elected will be the young people's president
They are the ones propelling him. They turned out in huge numbers for him today. He connects with them. if Obama wins the democratic nomination and the presidency, he will be the "young people's president" and will involve youth in the process like never before.

Of course, he's the president of all of the people but the young are his constituency. I mean this in the sense of you know how Bill was called the "first black president." Obama is the young.

15. Yes but we will be thinking about our children's future,
we have seen what a generation worrying about their retirement gives us.

22. This phenomenon first struck me with major league baseball.
When a pitcher walked out to the mound, a man young enough to be my son, and looking like he hadn't finished the whole puberty thing.
I was appalled! Where were the handsome older men????

Ah, well. I'm 51. They will all get younger all the time.

I plan on changing my registration from Independent to Democrat in order to support Mr. Obama, and our young voters, in the Oregon May Primary. Si se puede!

11. Where are you getting your info?
My mother is 62 and she happily voted for him. You shouldve seen all of the elders waiting in those long lines right alongside the college students at his rallies. "Give me a break".

7. The young will be burdened with all of the problems we refuse to face today
Global warming, the dumbass war on terror, our dependence on oil, social security, healthcare.

It's a damn good thing we are flexing our political muscles.
