|
Edited on Tue Feb-05-08 07:43 PM by Magic Rat
If the exit poll numbers for these states hold up. Based on the numbers that Drudge is reporting, if they're relatively accurate.
Alambama - 60 delegates overall -- Obama gets 36, Clinton gets 24. Arizona - 67 delegates overall -- Obama gets 34, Clinton gets 33. Arkansas - 47 delegates overall -- Obama gets 14, Clinton gets 33. California - 441 delegates overall -- Obama gets 207, Clinton gets 220. Connecticut - 60 delegates overall -- Obama gets 32, Clinton gets 28. Delaware - 23 delegates overall -- Obama gets 12, Clinton gets 11. Georgia - 103 delegates overall -- Obama gets 66, Clinton gets 37. Illinois - 185 delegates overall -- Obama gets 129, Clinton gets 56. Massachusettes - 121 delegates overall -- Obama gets 61, Clinton gets 60. Missouri - 88 delegates overall -- Obama gets 45, Clinton gets 43. New Jersey - 127 delegates overall -- Obama gets 67, Clinton gets 60. New York - 281 delegates overall -- Obama gets 120, Clinton gets 161. Oklahoma - 47 delegates overall -- Obama gets 18, Clinton gets 29. Tennessee - 85 delegates overall -- Obama gets 41, Clinton gets 44.
Total = Obama gets 882 delegates. Total = Clinton gets 839 delegates.

1. That's closer in delegate count than I would think (assuming his #s are accurate) |

3. Way too early - Early exit polls and delegates are not given % to the statewide vote.\nt |

4. Bigger than the delegate total would be the perception if this holds... |
|
Obama, if he wins Missouri, New Jersey, and Massachusetts, while getting bonus delegates in a few places, would be declared the "winner", even if Hillary takes California.
But we need to see how closely these actually hold up, and what happens in the rest of the states.

8. Delegates are issued on a county-by-county basis...even with the information |
|
that we have about %ages for the state-wide race, we still can't figure out each county and the %ages that each got...
Trying not to get excited...
