once again media makes itself MORE important than voters by "calling" states before
polls are closed across the country.

wonder if they will have a better record than in 2004 when everyone on DU thought kerry was cheated and polls proved him the winner.

1. MSongs, have you seen this?
From VotersUnite

From today:
Riverside County. A printing error scored as many as 60,000 absentee ballots so deeply that they fell apart when voters removed them from envelopes. That problem was slowing a team of 16 election workers, who were painstakingly hand-copying the last of roughly 35,000 ballots onto intact ballot cards Monday night.

Any chance you can head down to the county elections office and take a bit of video? If you can get shots (digital stills or video) of these jigsaw puzzles being put back together and can get it to me, we may be able to post it at The BRAD BLOG.

3. Here's some info
If chopped up absentee ballots are being put back together and duplicated onto intact ballots, it'd be happening at your county elections office. There might be other interesting things to see there as well. My suggestion was for you to take a video or still camera (if you have one and it's digital)and go down there and check it out.

Here's the address: 2724 Gateway Drive, Riverside

Don't worry about it being after business hours. They'll be there.

And here are some resources that you might find helpful:

Sav-R-Vote Election Monitoring Field Guide by your local Riverside County election integrity group

Citizen Election Observers Guide by Psephos (LandShark's new group)

California Election Monitoring Training Manual by Michelle Gabriel of California Election Protection Network

You're welcome to PM me if you have questions.
