Santa Clara County, CA short of Dem ballots because of crossover voting
More are being delivered, though. :D

SANTA CLARA COUNTY -- High voter turnout in Santa Clara County has caused some precincts to run out of Democratic primary ballots Tuesday, according to a county Registrar of Voters spokeswoman.

High demand for Democratic ballots has come from decline-to-state voters who are choosing to cast a ballot in the hotly contested Democratic presidential primary race between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. State Democratic Party rules allows decline-to-state voters to cast ballots in their presidential primary. There is no shortage among Republican ballots because the California Republican Party is only allowing registered Republicans to vote in its presidential primary.

2. No reTHUGs can't vote for a Democrat...
reTHUGS can only vote for their own. I know someone who is a reTHUG and have seen their ballot they can not vote for any Democrats. The independants can vote for a Democrat even though they aren't registered in the party.

6. High numbers in that area are 'decline-to-state' pragmatic fence sitters
this time, they have been locked out of the republican primary so they go for the Democratic ballot.

Independents (American Independent Party) can't vote the Democrat ticket because they have their own ticket.

3. Thankfully it's closed in Arizona. I hate the idea of some crossing over for a primary.
