The BIG suprise of the night..>Huckabee wins 5-6 states... |
|
This really does change the dynamic on the right. I think Romney is dead if he doesnt' win CA. And Huckabee almost forces McCain to put him on the ticket. This is GREAT for us, as less independents will support McCain with Huckabee on the ticket.

Could be that nobody but the diehard flat-earthers, who smell a possible victory for one of their own, are coming out to vote.

the wingnuts who hate McCain and are suspicious of Romney's religion. Very good news. If Mittens drops out, this becomes a 2-person race that could be very divisive. The last thing McCain wants to be forced to do is stick the Huckster on the ticket.

Huckabee on the ticket reassures the Religious Right and makes McCain's ticket that more of a Republican juggernaut

12. I doubt he'll put Huck on the ticket, but he'll certainly be able to help choose their veep |
|
Huck's gotta know he's toxic. Anyone who'd lose to Mittens does not have cross state appeal.

The guy is very disarming when you actually look and listen to him. A lot of his coverage I've seen is pretty disarming. After digging deeper of course, he's dicey, but I do get the "likability" thing down south.
