If Kerry is down by 10-15 points in June, would he ask Hillary to be VP? |
|
That's the scenario I heard a pundit say might realistically get Hillary as VP. The logic is if Kerry is far behind, Kerry will have nothing to lose since Hillary might energize the base in a big way.
Of course, I still don't see why Hillary would help him. She made a promise to NY voters and it's in her best interest to see Kerry fail. She would be the favorite for 2008.

And if he is, he has a lot bigger problems than any Veep selection can fix.

2. Not my favorite, ever. |

A great disappointment. Good only on children's issues but voted for NCLB. But I don't have to vote for her. She's not my Senator.

It was easy to vote for her in New York over Lazio, even if only to annoy The NY Post, Sean Hannity, and Fox News. But I REALLY don't want her to be on the national ticket.

Pundits that seem to get all hot and bothered over how to get Hillary on the ticket are delusional. It's not going to happen. Not this year.

7. I don't think it's going to happen..... |

I hear Dick Morris talking about a Kerry/Hillary ticket all the time, but he usually seems to be full of crap about almost everything.

12. I still don't think that she would want Kerry "to fail" |
|
and that we would have 4 more yrs of shrub. I hope she's not that much of an ego-maniac.

Enough with the Hillary Hysteria. She won't be VP and the base is as energized as it's ever been. We need someone who will help get crossover votes, not Dem hardcore.

13. We might be UP that far by then, |
|
but we won't be down at all. That is impossible.
And no, Hillary will have to wait her turn, and run in the primaries, like everyone else.
But the GOP would love to run against her! Lets them drag up all the (alleged) dirt they piled up while Bill was Prez.
There is no Mo in the party for a Hillary candidacy. Forget it. Huh uh, no way.
