I encountered bumbling poll workers in San Diego, but I think it will be OK

Filled in the bubbles, made a minor scene when an older gentleman (late 70s I believe) repeatedly showed signs of not being tuned in to what he was doing.

Me to the apparent precinct leader: "Has this man been properly trained? He doesnt' seem to be very clear on what he's supposed to be doing."

Apparent precinct leader: "Oh, sure. He just usually doesn't do the job he's doing right now."

His job was to hand out "I Voted" stickers, and to take completed ballots and put them in the box.

A line of about six voters all stared at me with the deer-in-the-headlights gaze.

I'm going to the Robin Trower concert now.
